Viewers trigger visual, sound, screen and voice effects through Twitch chat and channel points; TikTok and YouTube are in beta. The overlay is transparent and click-through, so you and your audience see the chaos together. Their points, bits and gifts stay on the platform: no money passes through Streamwreck.
Confetti, rain, jumpscares, screen glitches, voice filters (with VB-CABLE, free to install), cursor companions — most are generated on the fly, with nothing to download.
It floats over your game, always on top, and never steals a click or keystroke. Viewers see it with Display Capture.
Map effects to Twitch chat and channel points (TikTok gifts and YouTube are in beta), with cooldowns and moderation baked in.
One license runs one live copy at a time, and it checks in online while it runs — you’re streaming, so you’re online anyway. $30, one-time.
Add a Display Capture in OBS and your viewers see the on-screen effects. Link Streamwreck to OBS (Display Capture method “Windows 10 (1903 and up)”) and they see screen-color and flip effects too. Voice and facecam effects take one extra step.
Effects are plain config files inside the app, not downloadable content. Point one at a gif or video already on your computer and it plays locally — nothing is uploaded, hosted, shared or sold.
Run the installer. Streamwreck lives in your system tray (the magenta bolt), and the Control Panel opens in your browser on first run.
First launch: Windows may say “Windows protected your PC” because Streamwreck is new. Click More info → Run anyway. The installer is signed by Andrew McGraw.
Choose “Start your free trial” on the license page that opens after install: 7 days, everything unlocked. Buy right there when you’re ready.
Turn on your chat platform in Settings and add a Display Capture in OBS. Run your game windowed, or borderless once you turn on the Settings option; the Control Panel walks you through the rest. Link Streamwreck to OBS in Settings and use the “Windows 10 (1903 and up)” Capture Method, so screen-color and flip effects reach your stream too. If Display Capture shows black, set its Capture Method to “Windows 10 (1903 and up)”.
Activation happens inside the app. Install Streamwreck, open Tray → Activate / Manage License, and paste your key there.
